Details: The Harvard Applied Math Society invites you to Harvard SPRINT 2016, our annual speaker series! In addition to free food from Felipe’s, Domino’s and other Harvard Square favorites, as well as free swag, we will have notable speakers from both academia and industry, presenting on topics from artificial intelligence to social network modeling. Save the date to hear from top engineers at Facebook, chief executives at MATLAB, and decorated professors at Harvard!

Our first round of speakers includes:

  • Oct 18: David Parkes (Computer Science, Harvard SEAS)
  • Oct 21: Jim Tung (The Mathworks, creator of MATLAB)
  • Oct 25: Ariel Amir (Applied Mathematics, Harvard SEAS)
  • Oct 26: Na Li (Electrical Engineering & Applied Mathematics, Harvard SEAS)
  • Oct 28: Sam Gershman (Department of Psychology and Center for Brain Science, Harvard FAS)
